Default Mangled S spotted M74

Sad sight on the way home from WBT2
Just loaded up on to a flat bed around 7.45pm tonight on the M74 southbound south of Abington services.

Worst weather for the entire weekend by far. Sphincter clenching standing water on the motorway with lots of Beemers driving way too fast. Just seen the police on the north bound carriage guarding a 3 series implanted into the central reservation.

Looked like a lipstick red but really not sure. No back bumper, both rear wheels severely angled.

Hope no one was hurt.

Certainly a good reality check for the drive home, very sobering

Ended up with C7BLE and Oss convoying down from Dalwhiniie. Felt very guilty for passing C7BLE when I remembered they were on SO2's.
Sorry chaps.
The RE050's are soooo much better in the wet.
Been a long time since I've seen so much standing water on the road.

Me the same on my F1's

Sad seeing that S there, and I noticed all 3 of us slowed down a bit after seeing it.

Definately a Monza Red

I didn't find the any problems with the rain on the A9 to Perth, but there wasn't any standing water.

I did pass a few S2000's with nasty looking roof faults though

There'd have been plenty of standing water in your car if you had used the roof feature for the rest of the trip down M73/M74 etc

Twas fine Beardie, no problem, the standing water didn't get to the really noticable stage till I was on the last stretch of the M8 home and I still have about 3mm left on my new set of rear tyres .

Funilly though, the whole car was a lot more unsettled and slidey in the dry yesterday than she had been on the first three days.

Sad to hear about the monza

PS

The roof feature came in handy on Sunday
