Default Manifold...

Sorry the photo is crappy, it is from my iphone, had the car on the lift at the weekend doing the gearbox and diff oils and was having a little nosey around.

Wondering if my manifold is standard as I am not sure...I get the feeling it isn't?

Thanks

Picture from above would help--if it has got a heatshield then it's either OEM or a Mugen.

If it hasn't got a heatshield then it's aftermarket.

Looks like it's a mild steel / stainless mix given the shiny bit up top.

Maybe HKS or some sort of custom one.

Wont know without having a pic from the top. It looks like there is an attachment for the heath shield, you can also fit the standard manifold without a heatshield.

The attachement it not for a heatshield it's for a bracket that fixes the manifold to the engine mount--the OEM manifold has this but so do some aftermarket manifolds.

I'll rephrase my previous post: if there is a heatshield or brackets for a heatshield then the manilfold is OEM or Mugen, otherwise it's definitely aftermarket.
