MAP sensor
Hi,
Wondering if someone could lend me their good MAP sensor before I shell out on a new one, 'I think' I may have witnessed an intermittent fault but cant be sure. Oddly enough I wiggled various wires and it doesn't seem to be hesitating now but I fear it will be back, that's if it is the MAP sensor.
Obviously I will pay for postage, your MAP sensor will need marked so I dont get them mixed up.
Hoping i can repay the favour somehow or come to some arrangement (no Mark I'm not showing you my secret guns workout).
PM if you can help, it would be must appreciated.
Cheers
Aj

just sent PM back...
for the sake of the thread, mine was sourced from MVC (motor factors in the midlands), but partco/similar should be able to get one.
Denso branded ~£40 iirc.
edit: i was browsing through the TSB list, and there was a map sensor mod; re-route the cable so instead of wires going directly forward (as early S's), they curve around and head off behind the map sensor. also a small cable tie around the connector to give it more connectivity pressure.
