Default Mats..

See most people seem to upgrade to the Muz mats that cover the cross bracing, just wondered if these are the best on the market? I have original mats which looking quite tired now and want to smarten up the interior. Seen some genuine Honda ones for around

I have Prestige Muz mats. Good quality but they are still expensive for what you get, although you will get a good percentage of that back when you sell them on, unlike the poor quality originals. Not particularly happy with the fitment on the drivers side mind as they don't sit flat, especially over the cross member. You do get sticky backed velcro strips to hold them to the carpet but mine were about as much use as 'tits on a fish' as all the sticky had gone. Hope they flatten out eventually but it's been 5 months and there has been no real change.

Colour is good. I have the Charcoal ones which are spot on for the black carpets of the car (The Muz black is too black). If you are going for red I am not sure that Muz red is the same. But I may well be wrong

Here is the link, they are from Australia

I've read that the colour match for red isn't very good as it's far too bright.

These are sold but give you a good idea of shape, size, colour of the charcoal ones...

Muz

the fitment "issue" is easily cured with a little work with a hair drier and some weights. If you fit them in the cold UK winter the drivers side mat can take a while to settle in.

the velcro strips are pointless. Use them for something else.

If you have red carpet I would go with the JDM mats. I have just taken delivery of mine and they are a perfect fit and colour match.

They are bloody expensive but I am so glad I bought these over any of the others, I cannot find anything I dont like about them. I will take some pics to post here.
