About £200 a corner, Raz.

But so worth it!

Pedant!
Though you are right they may look at alot better adorning a window in a nice pastel colour!

Raz, I tend to get mine from Bookatrack, and they fit them on the day.

http://bookatrack.com/-pT_Buy-Tyres-Online.html

They have actually gone up a bit I think, so the price I mentioned might be a bit conservative, and I think you will be using a 255 rear? From what I found I think a 245 is still a good fit on a 9" rear but not 100%.

Rears are £220 odd for 245 / 40 / 17.

Hopefully.

I'm holding off on the booking at the moment as I might be doing something quite radical work wise in June and may need to conserve the pennies and cut back on track activities

But, I'm weak and might do it as a last hurrah instead

9" is perfect for a 245 , a slight stretch really helps
mechanical grip.

I suspect it's optimum, but different brand tyres come up differently it seems.

Graham, get the M3 out!

Definitely on the cards but probably not much cheaper than hiring a Caterham.
