My car has developed a very loud rough noise when revved. At first I thought it might be engine problem but then I thought it could be something loose and rattling. But when searching on past posts I saw that it could be clutch related. My symptoms are:
- loud rough sound when revved
- feels like a lack of power to the wheels
- clutch doesn't slip as it should
- slight hesitation getting out of gear to shift to another
- gear stick vibrates a lot more than normal, can feel the excessive vibration when holding it while driving
I hope it's not engine. The sound seems to be coming from below the engine about where the clutch would be.
