Default Meguiars Hyper wash

Having recent decided to buy some quality kit clean my car, i purchased some hyperwash from Serious Performance, to realise on receipt that the stuff is a foam cleaner!!

What i wanted to know is if the wash can be used with the good old bucket and sponge method.

Ive had a look around the web and it seems you need a pressure washer and a lance of some description. Both of which i never intended to buy!

Also brought some clay bar but seems i may need some liquid spray to lub up to. Is this right??

Couldnt find tangos tread so i apolyogise for posting here in advance!!

Cant see why not, as long as you dilute it, as per instruction - The Megs has a dilution rate of 400:1

Buy a foam lance - I have, its great fun

Clay bar - yes you can either use it on a wet car or use a lube - MEgs quick detail is my choice, but there are plenty of alternatives.

Have a look here for all the products you'll ever need and then some

Regarding the clay lube. I was talking with a Meg's rep at a car event a couple of weeks ago. Apparently, the Ultimate Quick detailer (in the BLACK spray container) is unsuitable. You should use the Quick detailer (in the RED container).

Hyper wash is a good shampoo

Buy some quick detailer to lube your car as you clay it.

Red!

Never knew they did a black one but I always buy the Megs Quick Clay complete with Quick Detailer in the red container.

Never had a problem yet!

No, what you need to do is find out if it works, then take a picture of the connector end of the removable lance bit and then post it up .

I will then tell you if that is compatible with a foam lance and what bits you need.

If on the other hand it's not then you need to buy another pressure washer, i can also suggest to you what you need.

I use Hyperwash as a shampoo, great product and last for ages as it's very concentrated.

Visit www.detailingworld.co.uk for more than enough info on everything.

There are also a couple of threads on here re detailing where there will be some good info if you trawl through.
