man, you really need to take a step back and read your post again... there's only so much thinking that should be done about washing/waxing the car!

as long as it's nice and shiny that's fine - then we go and drive em to get em dirty again!

it's not as if we're doing a show n shine comp here!

nxt tech wax is the dogs!! ...i get mine from a geezer called john over at cleanandshiney.co.uk and whats brill is its next day delivery by courier!!....anyway im a bit shocked with the fairy liquid.....but i would just use meguires soft gel wash or the new nxt wash...and then dry down with a terry towel....it'll bring back the features of the car to when it was waxed! ...my regime would be...to clay bar every 6 months or so, then depeding on what your after....id either go for the 3 stage deep crystal system takes ages but the results are amazing!..or id go for the nxt stuff which reduces the polish and wax time immensely beacuse its all in one.

Love the gloss Red, but you should check out this thread about locking wheel nuts (if you haven't already). Mine are the white capped ones, same as yours, and one of them is rusted solid - off to the dealer on Thursday to have it prised off.
