After looking at the front opening I thought it might be wise to mesh the front grill, saw a few ctr's get holed a/c rads so wondered if I should fit mesh across the inside of the lower grill, it looks very exposed.?

 

Maybe some black mesh would look OK after the standard grill.

 

You can put a grill on the front ........ but it will cut down the airflow to the radiator.

 

I've had one for 4 years now - no apparent adverse reaction.

I wouldn't do it, Honda left it like that for a reason.

 

The Evo has mesh, but to protect the IC.

If you do it, make sure its not anywhere near fine.

Its going to take a chunky stone to damage it, so stich to about 8mm mesh IMO.

I know of several civic owners who had to splash out for a new a/c rad, better safe than sorry.
