Default Mileage

Just curious as to how these cars handle high mileage? My car is on 72k and I was thinking of going the FI route but not if the car will die soon.

The car has full service history and I look after it really well, any advice? Even without the FI option, what should I reasonably expect?

Apologies if this has been covered before......

how long is a piece of string?

No two engines are the same buddy, the best thing to do if your are planning on modifying your car would be to ensure the servicable parts are replaced when needed, for an idea on the life of your engine perhaps consider doing a leak down test to determine the condition of the valves, rings, compression and headgasket.

Guzzie cheers for the input. Having come from Evos prior to the s2000, I'm used to engines not lasting very long. Was just curious...

it really depends on your driving style, As mentioned before, modifry had comptech Sc ran over 100k, my Sc'ed running more than 10K now, never missed a beat, probably related to my recent rather sedate driving style, the engine might last longer than my lifetime

yep ive got about 15k miles now on the SC for 87k total and seemingly the only problem has been an EMS AEM fault.
