Wow I want the home link mirror!...... and the compass/GPS/phone/keyless entry mirror!...... bet their not cheap!

These things got me very excited a year or so ago - a solution to the clock problem which lI could actually live with!

There have been several posts in the US re. installing these - here is just one example:

Excellent, excellent I thought..........a little more research.......no clock option is available.

Bollox!

If anyone does find a similar item with a clock option I am in there (and assuming they will need to be sourced from the US, happy to bring 3 or 4 back on my next visit.

Oh yes....funny how these little things come back to you.....removal of the old mirror involves taking a blow-torch to your windscreen!

We have an auto-dimming rear mirror in the Passat.

I hate it. Makes it difficult to see anything in the mirror at all if there is a car behind you with their lights on. It's like looking through smoked glass most of the time because it seems to dim at every opportunity.
