missfire

Default missfire

I went out in my car today and when goes into the vtec its got a missfire it doesn't do it all the time, but its off to the garage on friday
anyone out there had the same problem.

Lol, i got a misfire this morning also. Please see my post " Engine Light of doom " Turns out mine was a little low on oil though, so hoping that was the problem.

You sure its a misfire and not your MAP sensor ?

Its worth searching on 'MAP Whack' and seeing if that sorts it

just checked the oil it was low topped it up, I'll test it on my way to work

You getting a CEL ?

If it was misfiring I would expect it to trigger the CEL.

Mine did that, but there was a flashing CEL to accompany the misfire.

That was injectors.

Check Engine Light.

How do you know there wasn't one if you don't know what it is?
