missing bolt?
Having just filled up and checked oil, and topped up (initially forgetting to but the 710 cap back on :s) I noticed what appears to be a missing bolt.
Between the front wheels, underneath the airbox (for those that have them still) there's a big..... GURDER? for want of a better way of describing it. on the left hand side of the car (N/S) there's a bolt going through, and next to it (about 4 inches away) a hole with slightly rusted thread can be seen, with some slight scratching where a bolt has been fastened.
Should I be concerned?
Ta.
going to keep popping up questions like this until all the bit's I find have been resolved, or found out OK

As for 1000 words... here's 2000
This pic shows the engine bay, with the bar in question running under the K&N hose, and yes to the left it looks like a drain hole.... however to the right, there's a bolt, and another pair of hoses.....(next pic)

And as you can see, under here there's another hole, with scuffing from a washer/bolt head, and there is threads inside that hole....

The hole you mention that used to have something screwed into it will be for the OEM airbox as already said. The one underneath the filter has no use other than a drain hole and is the same on all cars. The hole that now has a bolt through it is probably a DIY to re-mount the vac pipe chamber or something like that at a guess as when you remove the OEM airbox the air flow meter (mind blank on its real name) will dangle down and risk bumping into the alternator drive belt and the pulleys if it isnt secured out of the way.
