Default Missing wheel nuts

About a week or so ago I noticed the locking wheel nut on my front nearside wheel was missing. I've had the wheels on and off a fair bit over the few weeks before so figured i'd maybe not nipped it up tight enough (i always leave the locking nuts to last when the weight of the car is back on the wheel) so put a spare ordinary wheel nut on and went round the whole car and made sure they were all tight.

Tonight I noticed i'd lost another wheel nut, from the same wheel

WTF is going on, i've never lost a wheel nut on any previous cars, i've always done them good and tight by hand with no problems.

Do you need any replacement locking wheel nuts? I have some you can have if you live in the North Midlands & can collect them.

That's rich, coming from you.

Maybe try a tiny dab of some very weak threadlock?
Is it the same nut that keeps coming loose?

Are tightening them up to the correct torque spec? What type of lug nuts are you using? OEM or aftermarket?

OEM lug nuts, no not to any torque setting but I will over the weekend!

It could be the same nut, it's definitely on the same wheel!

Very generous offer Santenay, thank you, where abouts are you located?

Maybe someone is planning to steal your wheels and are removing your locking nuts one by one

Thought crossed my mind, but this is a locking nut gone first, then an ordinary lug nut from the same wheel.
