Mobius dashcam
I ran the möbius on a trip to Tuscany this year and the south of France last year.
We averaged between 5-6 hours driving per day.
So the camera was working pretty much all the time for the trip down and back.
The heat sink does get quite warm but have had no issues with it.
I also run it at 720p purely to keep the file size down on a 32 gig card.
As I have previously said it is great for the price.

Mine comes on every time I start the car .I forget its there most of the time.
I even got some interesting footage of the test drive after my last service where the mech drove arround to the back of a nearby trading estate , parked up for a couple of minutes , then drove back , all very responsibly

So I spent some time thinking about positioning last night. And I'm still undecided today. One thing that I did realise was I wanted the flashing light to stop when it was recording! It would catch my eye the whole time.
The position on the trim by the top of the windscreen next to the top latch is ok... But not sitting flat plays on my OCD and filming at a slight angle would annoy me. I'm struggling to see how it could be discreet enough to leave it in full time if it's mounted by the mirror. Today a windscreen mount arrived, but I'm not sure the 360 ball mount will adjust enough to allow the möbius to sit horizontally, but I guess it must be sufficient else it wouldn't be much use as a windscreen mount.
Toying with the idea of installing it behind the airbag sticker on the passenger side to obscure the body of the camera from the outside. Will try it out later.

I've still yet to fit the Mobius, in part because I've been away, but I'd also been struggling with where and how I would mount it. Velcro to the plastic trim around the windscreen top would be ok, if it weren't at an angle where I wanted to fit it. Space behind the rear view mirror is a bit tight, but my preferred location.
I finally settled on the Scosche dash Magic mount. It comes in a variety of forms, I've opted for the dash one with a 3M sticky pad. The business end is a magnetic plate which is just under 2" square and the kit provides two magnetic plates to stick on or attach between surfaces of the device you want to attach. One is large, for a smartphone, the other is small. I actually replaced the Mobius battery for a capacitor (better for dashcam use apparently) and popped the small magnet in the internals at the same time, under the case surface. The result is the Mobius sticks to the pad brilliantly. I just now need to select the optimum position. Obviously being magnetic it's easy to adjust sideways and remove if needed.
Will try and upload some pics, not sure if possible from my phone

Dashcam finally up and running, really pleased with it. Quality is great and am happy with the mounting position in the car.
A couple of pics for those that are interested. I will try and get a shot from the front in better light soon.
