Default The 'Mod' brigade

I have done a lot of reading of the posts on the general S2000 forum, which is mainly frequented by the American chaps and they do seem to like modifying their S2000s quite a bit. Myself I am really not into that sort of thing and I am quite content with what I got from Honda, enough car for me anyway.

What are your thoughts on this, I personally think that modifying cars should be left to the chavs (see link below if you need definition of chav, very funny site).

This may be a culture thing, but modified cars in the UK generally like pants.

I don't think we go to quite the same extremes as some of our transatlantic cousins, but there's nothing wrong with a bit of modification if kept within reason.

No big spoilers allowed though!

Carefull Coco - there's a lot of us chavs on the site . I think I'm the only one with an England flag on the S though (you need to read the chav threads on off topic to know what I mean )

Yeah so long as you don't put silly big wheels and booming ICE in then it's fine.

Thought I would offend someone, good start...

I am not against minor tasteful modifications e.g. if I had a pre 04 S2000 I would upgrade the alloys. I am more against the major keving up of cars so they look daft. The odd performance tweak is very acceptable though.

You can't put 16" alloys on a car like that, just not right.
