[B][FONT=Arial][SIZE=7][COLOR=blue] I've bought an S2000 from new & had it just over 3 years. I was gonna sell it but due to the fact that they are not building anymore after this year, the misses has said that we should keep it! God Bless Her! So anyway, I now wanna do it up a bit! What are the best kits in England to enhance performance as my mate (WHO'S A PLASTERER), has just bought a Porsche 911 & reckons he'll beat me every time! What can I do for a relatively cheap amount that will not mean I have to have cast iron diffs& a gun? Come on Guys, we are better than a porch, I mean Porsche. Sorry. Yeah right!
Remember I'm a beginner so use simple language but effective fire power! I so love the S20000000000, as it should be! Has anyone seen the new coupe? It's alright but no S2000! Antway, thanks for all your help. scott_marlow_1@hotmail.com

Then shouldn't you ask this in the UK forum?

Moving to UK forum, they can help you out on what is available there.

Assuming it's a 996 or 997 model 911, your mate will have anywhere between 60 to 100 bhp more than your S2000. Short of bolting on a supercharger or a turbocharger, there's no way you'll get anywhere near making up that deficit.

The F20C engine is already pretty highly tuned. There are ways of tweaking it but they're all comparatively costly and don't release much extra power.

Forced induction gives the most bang-for-the-buck but it's not straightforward if you don't know a bit about the technical side of things - and in the case of a turbocharger, if you don't know a lot about the technical side of things!

Oh you'll need to spend 10's of thousands to get up to 911 performance, and that will be a struggle. Buy a 911!
