Default Modifry dash mount

All of the cradles I can find on the 'bay or amazon are windscreen or heater vent ones, I'm prepared to do a little 'modification' to it if necessary, but I'd like it to still be able to rotate, necessitating a ball and socket type fitment.

What do you guys use?

I use a Brodit with my modifry and Galaxy S2

Here's the iphone version: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Brodit-Passi...rodit+iphone+5

You will need the ball joint thing you can see in the second picture - that screws directly onto the Modifry

+1 for the brodit clip, same setup here OP and it works a treat iphone 4/4s/5/5s

I have this one but for the 4s, both the same. They have 4 finger screws on the rear to adjust both sides so if you have a 'bumper' or other case it will go wider to accommodate the case.

http://www.mobilefun...5s-5-p36288.htm

includes mounting base with the 4 holes in each corner which matchers up perfectly to the modifry mount. You can either use screws and bolts to secure it or I used cable ties as they are black. Looks a bit messy and non oem for some people, but how else can you have your phone located in such a perfect position for satnav/music streaming and you have the ability to angle it as you see fit.

if you want any pictures just ask

Thanks MSC and LG.

MSC - the link you included has the swivel bit already doesn't it? LG mentions needing the ball part separately.

Mine came with it all, even screws. It was the exact same as in the picture but for the 4s with a bumper. They are width adjustable, so the height difference of the 4/4s and 5 isnt important. On its thinnest setting mine is too wide for a bare iphone 4/5 but i put a strip of soft sided velcro on each arm and it fits, I went for a wider one you can adjust so if I bought a wider phone like samsung it will fit. That one I linked isnt adjustable i dont think. When im back ill find the exact model I bought from mobile fun and send you the link. That one will come with what's on the picture though im 99% sure as mine did

The tilt swivel is the ball, there is a screw in the middle to tighten it up, otherwise it will turn 360 degrees which is great for landscape mode on satnav etc.

I can't remember if it came with the ball thing, so I guess it probably did.

Mine is fixed width and fits the S2 perfectly, so I assume the same would be the case for the iphone.

I think I had to get some nuts and bolts to attach the plate to the modifry but it was pretty painless (especially as I got unclefester to do the fitting of the modifry to the car along with the associated cutting.
