Default Mont Blanc

Planning next years holiday, one of the drives we shall be doing is from Lac Aiguebelette to Lac Chalain via Mont Blanc. Due to my partner being disabled we obviously cannot do any climbing or hiking. Does anyone know which are the best roads to travel on for the best views
We will not have the pass to use the Swiss autoroutes.
Any suggestions where to stop for lunch

I drove under it - was very boring. Is this trip not North of Mont Blanc? The tunnel is way south of Lac Chalain

Avoid the Mont Blanc Tunnel. It's expensive and there's usualy a long wait to get through.

Take the road East from Chamonix to Martigny over the Col de la Forclaz and then turn South to take in the Great St Bernard Pass (avoiding the tunnel!). Some great viwes from the top there and you might see a Marmotte.

We stayed in Courmayeur (awesome place) for a few nights which is just by the south entrance of the tunnel. We rolled up after breakfast and it was empty. 60kph IIRC so slow but even so doesnt take that long.

Route down was across Switzerland from Basel to Tirano where we stayed a couple of nights. Lovely route albeit a long drive. Tunnel gives you a quick exit from Italy.
