Morality Tale...
Once upon a time there was a shiny new Monte Carlo Blue S2000. It's owner loved it very much.
One day the owner had to leave the S2000 parked on a driveway.
"Don't worry my darling, you'll be safe here. I'd not risk leaving you at the mercy of Saturday parkers."
The owner returned. He stopped and looked again on the Blue. What a thing of beauty it was, power and purpose. So then the owner began the to wash the S2000 - it deserved to be clean and cared for.
There was white paint and a dint on the car! Someone had damaged the poor defenceless S2000!
The owner flew into a blind rage. He asked all around "Who has hurt my baby?". But no one answered. Only much later was the culprit revealed, long after they had fled.
Later, the owner did what he could to help the poor S2000. He cleaned the nasty scar. Washed and waxed the car. And promised "Don't worry Blue, I'll make sure you're as good as new."
The S2000 stayed faithful and dependable. The run in period passed. Much rejoicing and Vtecing was done. And then the S2000 was gone. It was scared, but gained courage that it's Silver cousin had been nursed by to health by the same people after the nasty AA man damaged him.
The owner stood holding the keys to a Purple Nissan Micra Courtesy car, as he watched Blue drive off. He was in the worst, and unspoken level on Dante's Inferno - Nissan Micra.
The morale of this tale? Take as good car of your S2000 as you can. They are truly great car and will reward you every drive. There are good Honda people about who can help your S2000 should the worst happen.
But never forget, it only takes an instant, and while your S2000 is nursed to health you may have to spend time in the worst place imaginable.

Its a great feeling though knowing that you can park the Micra anywhere without fear of theft etc.
They also have a purple Micra with huge writing on the side; I am soooooo glad I managed to avoid that one
When I phoned up today to see if my badges had arrived, Martin told me there was a world shortage of Honda blue paint. You will probably have to drive the Micra for at least six weeks

Well I've got the S2000 back. No more Micra!
There was a few moments concern... but thankfully it was just wax. Had a very good look.
Spotless finish. I've very pleased.
