Default Muz Mats

I have a few questions about the muz mats i wondered if any of you could help me with. My car does not have the anchor posts fitted.

1. Are the anchor posts worth fitting and if so where can i get some from? Or shall i just wedge them under the seat bolts?
2. What colores/stiching etc look go in a Nurenburgring Blue S? Any pictures would be nice so i could see what they looki like before i order some.

Cheers

Rich.

1. Yes from the dealer. Or you could wedge under the bolts
2. Black with blue edging? (Nurburgring it is )

Glad you're enjoying it

Anchor posts from Honda dealer.

Most people say that trapping the driver side mat under the seat rails givs a better fit. I've got mine on the pegs and I would agree. I am thinking of taking the pegs out.

Get the prestige mats - Can't help with the colours.

I was thinking about getting some too. Why would you recommend the prestige over the normal?
What do you get for the extra $$$?

Better quality carpet. longer lasting , nicer looking and TBH if you're sending all the way to Aus for them and paying the shipping and insurance you might as well get the good ones and have a logo at the same time.

Ahh I see, that old chestnut.
'In for a penny in for a pound'
I see your logic. Prestige it is then.

Another question.
Sorry to hijack the thread, but it's relevant at least.
Do people recommend the heel pad on the drivers side?
Does it spoil the look of the mats or is essential from a wear point of view?

From my experience, buy them without the holes for anchor posts.

The holes in mine were in the wrong place, about an 1 1/2 inches out, Muz said the post position varies dependant on year

I tried to move the posts, but not easy, they screw into a plastic rawlplug type thing and I couldn't find a way of moving them forward successfully and ended up removing them.

Trapping under the seat mount seems to work fine.

I went for the heel pad on drivers side, seems to work fine but a devil to clean due to the texture on it.

The grey is slightly lighter than the s2k carpets, I would probably go for the black next time.

The Prestige mats are good quality and seem to be wearing well

It would be useful if Muz could supply a washer with a 'teeth' pointing downwards to put under the seat mount bracket. This would do a better job of holding the mat. Might have a go a knocking some up

I bought the standard mats and they look great. They will last for years... its obvious by the high quality.

IMO you only need to use velcro to secure them. Mine haven't budged in 1000 miles.
