Makes sense, I didn't expect to want new ones after 3 months. Just curious to know what you are getting for your extra 40 sovs.

Standard mats are a marine grade carpet. It is a coarser water resistant carpet as the name implies. Ideal for wet climates.

The standard mats wear well with normal use (some of our customers have been using them for 3 years now with no wear problems) however the prestige mats wear even better over a longer period of time as one would expect for the extra cost.

The prestige mats are a plush short nap automotive carpet that is very soft underfoot and have a nice 'up-market' appearance to them. It is the same carpet used in luxury car refurbishment. The trim shop that supplies us use it in Rollers, Jags, BMW etc.

Charcoal is identical to the OEM 'black' carpet colour while black is a bit darker in comparison.

The prestige Red is very red, matches the door trim on my 05, but no where near the oem red carpet colour which is more subdued. As they are buried in the foot well doesn't matter really.
