new car - secondhand mats?

Due to redundancy i cant even look at Simmo's mats - every penny has to be accounted for at the moment

even running on normal unleaded to save a few pence!

Umm, even if they had, there's the small matter of Muz's intellectual property rights in the design of the mats. Copying them is a

Nah, didn't see the point - the ones I had were still in pretty good condition, other than needing to be hoovered

I've already bought two sets of Muz mats - I didn't really want to go to the expense of a third set!

I found the best way to stop the matts moving was to put the velcro on the front of the hump near the seat and then loosen the seats and put the Mat under the front 2 bolts then fasten back.

The only draw back is that the mats cant be removed for cleaning or you could use the securing bolts for the standard mats if they have the optional location holes.

I've got some standard ones in the garage but have ordered the prestige for the new 04.

Which colour will go best with the black interior then ? I'm guessing black, although it seems to indicate that charcoal is closer to OEM ?

What are other poeoples thoughts ?

You saw my blue mats (briefly, and the light wasn't great, admittedly) on Saturday - I bought them because they went nicely with the exterior colour of my previous MCB. I still like them so I've kept them in the RNBP.

I had a black set prior to the blue ones. They went fine with the black interior.

(I still prefer the blue ones though)
