Unhappy My 1st machine polish on the S

Well, as part of my R n R weekend, i spent a day on the S with the machine polisher.

It was just a trial run, and we were being very timid with the machine, but im happy with the results.

She will need another going over to get the more sever scratches out. But here are a few pics of the day.

Also took the Honda Badges off the sides

And removed the number plate surround

And at the end of the day

Its sad to say, but i find it really relaxing, and actually enjoy watching the paint work iimprove

Almost theraputic

Looking good. I've been reading into all this detailing stuff on dw and it's very interesting.

I'm still unsure what machine to use lol

What machine did you use and what products?

But left a bloody ugly great advertising decal on....?

PS Did you know the local chavs appear to have adopted your car as a makeshift washing line....?

I will be doing a full polish from tip to toe this weekend, and ill do a full write up of the products used, and the order they were used in, with some before and after, and hopefully some video of buffing tech,

For the deep scratches we got some 3000 grit wet and dry on them, followed by maguires 83, with zano final finish across the car.

For the less swirly area's we just did the e3 with final finish.

then a final polish compund.

Next weekend ill do a full wrtie up, this was just a test run and there are still scratches left, and the odd swirl
