Default Is it my driving

I'm new to this VTEC concept and not sure if the clutch is on the way out on my 03 S2000 which has covered 42k or whether its my driving.

When doing a fast start, the clutch tends to slip in 2nd gear. Having read a few posts on the site I assumed I needed to change my driving style.

Assuming you didn't change into 3rd at 9000rpm and keep your foot to the floor you probably need a new clutch.

They should reset the alignment again IIRC as they have to drop the subframe to change the clutch. That will be another

Me thinks you need a new clutch. Try this- start engine, select 4th gear, lift foot off clutch SLOWLY (hold handbrake ON). If you can keep the engine running then your clutch is probably slipping, If your engine stalls your clutch isn't slipping.

Make sure there's nothing in front of you!
