Default My S2000 plan

Finally made a decision to keep the S. My plan is to run it at track days, and to fix the suspension.

I've already ordered ARB's front and rear which leaves me with:

Nitron track shocks with eibach springs, or KW V3 or Bilstein PSS9
anti-bump steer kit
front brakes ducting

what else do i need? I'm not going to lower the car much. But am I going to need a steering rack spacer?

I still need the car to be road usable.

I may baffle the sump too. But may just keep the oil topped up.

Good news Mr Chilled.

Well, you prob know what the billies drive like. Don't think many have experience with the KW's over here, and there is a Nitron club so you will get some decent reviews there. Think only one of them goes on track?

I think with your tyres as sump would be useful.

Other than that a fit and forget brake solution might be good - Tarox under the OEM wheels?

I'd ditch the rear exhaust for somehting light. The weight is incredible.

I'd happily ditch the exhaust if I could guarantee it was no louder than stock. It's more important that I don't get black flagged than make a noise. The weight saving would be nice though.

Good choice mark.

It will be interesting to see the results of your mods on track.

Two actually
Oulton twice and Donnington once.

Chilled - just watch the ride height on the front if you go to Nitron Track
Mine is 35mm lower and it knocks the rebound adjuster on the lower arm
It also knock the side of the reservoir on the splined wheel for the ABS sensor on full lock.
I could probably prevent with an ARB or stiffer setting but I like the way it handles now!

I can vouch for the V3's being good, Chris Franklin seemed impressed with them also

No knocking either

What about a Mugen exhaust?

Really not convinced on the whole exhaust thing.

I don't want to lower the car too much. I'm more after making it stiffer.

Exhaust thing is a double edged sword. Most the really light weight ones are also very noisey!

Both PL and PJL have been black flagged for noise IIRC

The Nitrons will probably give you the best damping vs unsprung weight.
