Default MY2002 Wheel Problem?

Hi,

No I'm not scare mongering, but do people know if Honda claim to have fixed the wheel problems for the new 2002 model, or are the wheels exactly the same?

Nick.

The wheels are different. I tried to get 2002 wheels put on as my warranty replacements but was told to go away in short jerky movements

Whilst Honda seem to be replacing MY00/01 wheels without quibble, I am not aware that they have ever actually acknowledged a generic problem with the wheels. Therefore, I dont expect to hear them claiming a fix with the MY02 wheels all the Honda material I have seen re. the MY02 wheels - which is not a lot- suggests the change has been made on aesthetic grounds). If they did this, I think they would have to fit MY02 wheels to the earlier cars in response to warranty claims. And as evidenced by Pete's experience, they aint doin' this!
