Default Need some help with the VIN

Since I have my car now, I would like to change my "Enthusiast" status to "Owner". Being a good boy as I am and having read the board for a couple of weeks now, I knew exactly what to do when the time came?

Yep - Edit Profile and fill in the VIN number next to Vehicle ID No. - Done deal!
Nope - It does not seem to let me insert the VIN. It says "-- YES!! --" where I would be supposed to insert the VIN.

Any ideas what this means and how I can get to be an owner?

Help is much appreciated!

Dolf.

There was initially a box there for the VIN to be inserted when I first started reading and was a mere enthusiast. I added my VIN then next time I looked my status had changed to Owner and the "--YES!!--" had appeared. I took it to mean that it had accepted my VIN.

It did take a while for the system to show me as an owner rather than an enthusiast though, so it may not happen straightaway.

If you have a 'Yes' there it usually means that you have inserted your VIN at some stage previously. The 'Yes' replaces the number in your profile as part of the sites security in relation to VIN numbers. If you haven't inserted your number yet it seems to be some sort of a glitch with the database. I'd try PMing Honda Gal or Krazik who should be able to sort it.

Thanks Cedric, looks like there might be a problem with the database then. I will PM Honda Gal and let her know.

I upgrade to owner recently. It took a little while to respond.

What's a Super Moderator?

And why do I have only one star?

Super Moderator? No idea, but it sounds good!

I have been in touch with HondaGal and she told me that my status should now read "Owner".
Looks like I received a bit of a promotion...

Moderators have the same privilages as Owners So there is no need to inselt a VIN because it already thinks you have it, becuase the mod privilages said so.

How the **** did you manage to get to super mod???? I have tried before and was politely declined. I'm already a mod of two forums. Why are you special?? no offence meant, just a bit peeved.

Super Mod is where you are a moderator of the whole board not just individual forums.
