It doesn't look too great, but the front end is quite nice. The thing is though, all new 3 series look distinctly average when they are first launched at they are always the saloon and non-sport version. EVO thought the new 330 was a blinder.

I am really dissappointed with the interior. I disliked it in the Z4 and its pretty much the same in this car too. Cheaper quality materials and less driver focused.

The coupe sport version (going to be launched in 2006) is bound to be a great looking car and with the following versions, its bound to be good:

330i petrol - 255 bhp
335d diesel - 270 bhp and shed loads of torque
335i petrol - 300+ bhp

I have slated Bangle's designs in the past including this car, but I will reserve judgement until I see the coupe sport version.

The cabriolet will have a folding metal roof which is looking like a good replacement for the wife's car in a couple of years time.

No-one picked up on the 130i yet? 258bhp and 8:33 around the ring.. shame it looks like a shopping trolley. (probably because it is one).

Unfair!

At least with a shopping trolley, all the lines are straight & parallel!

Exactly, its minging. Its the worst looking car BMW have ever produced IMO.

I hope the 2 series or 1 coupe (whatever they call it) will look good, especially the M version.

It's nice to see that at least the indicators etc etc are now optionally functional rather than just plain off.
