Other than them having a 60K warranty over three years rather than 90K for a UK car, they're identical. Insurance should not be affected as it's not a grey Japanese import so doesn't have to be declared as an "import".

Thanks for the info both.
The upper mileage limit is not a problem. I'll be doing 9k a year!
Who did you buy from David?
Do you part/ex there too?
Do you spec and wait - or just choose from what is available.
Is there a different choice of colour and trim?
If I buy new I'll keep for 4 years (36,000 miles) when, from what LL says, the source should not make any difference.

[QUOTE=DavidA,Mar 14 2006, 10:00 PM] I've had four of them 2002, 2003, 2005 and now 2006. Saves a huge chunk on depreciation - important when you change cars as often as I do.
Honda dealers are happy to get them on the Honda UK computer for warranty and recall purposes.
As LL says only difference in warranty is the lower upper mileage limit, oh and lack of breakdown cover which I think you may still get with a UK car. You might want to buy yourself a set of locking wheel nuts to make it full UK spec.

I bought from BG's last year.
Excellent service & i'd definetly use them again. I spec'ed & ordered. It arrived nearly 5 weeks early. No problems with it being an EU import. It was put on HUK's database immediately with no hassles. As said only the 60k warranty is different.
