The metallic looking (not sure what its made of) surround that surrounds the gear stick, any one any idea where to get a new one from?

Mines scratched from a metal watch when changing gear

Just use some rubbing alcohol and keep rubbing - you'll remove the silver painted stuff and reveal a chrome like finish.

Same problem as dave, would be really interested in seeing a pic of it rubbed down....

Its a piece of cake.

Pop it off....rub some paint stripper on it and hey presto ...shiny shiny !!


Pull the whole centre console up....unplug the switches...remove the gearknob and the whole thing is in your hand.
