Hi all I my alternator seem to be overcharging the battery and need to change it was wondering if I get it reconditioned will the problem come back or is it just worth it to get a new one?

With alternators you can get the voltage regulator separately, so you might not even need to get a full reconditioned alternator. Honda Part number seems to be 31150P8CA01 but you might want to find a Denso OEM supplier as it seems quite pricey.

The problem shouldn't come back once you have fixed it.

Thanks for the offer Floppy but i'd rather get a new one or get the broken one fixed id get too paranoid that it would go wrong again if I fit a second hand one
