Default New car

Hi Guys,

after weeks of trawling the market and much patience it seems that I've finally found the car! Subject to service and inspection I'll be picking up a 2004 S2K GT in NFR next weekend. I'm looking forward to becoming a full member of this brilliant forum & community!

The main dealer carrying out the service has agreed to undertake an inpspection: I'm going to provide a list of things that I'd like for them to check out, in particular I'd like to ascertain that the suspension bolts/bushes have not siezed.

I'd appreciate some help compiling the list so if you have any thoughts or particulars that would be great

Cheers for now

Ian

don't think there's much else you really need to check out mate. just the usual tyres, oil etc.

it's a pretty damn sturdy/reliable car generally and doesn't tend to really go wrong.

happy vtec-ing when you get it

Congrats on finding the S for you. I was personnally very lucky with my search, as it only took me a month to find the right car for me.

As billy_i_vtec has already pointed out, the S does seem to be generally a reliable car from my limited experiance and from what I've read on this forum.

Happy motoring.

service history is important imho.. check the oil and level..
any recalls for an 04?
has it been pranged? (dealer should have a paint depth gauge etc for this)

good luck
