Default New Car!

Since my accident in April I have been driving a Micra which has been interesting. Well, I have finally served my sentence for S2k murder and picked up it's replacment this evening, a DC5 Integra Type R.

It's a low mileage (17k) MY02. First impressions, very similar feel to the S, heavier steering, not quite as quick but still fast enough, firmer suspension, a better driving position (for me anyway, being quite tall). The seats are fantastic, they really hug you.

It has a flashy sat nav system fitted, unfortunately it's japanese so I get nagged by a nice japanese lady ever so often, probably telling me I'm 10,000 miles off course....

I was all set to get a Z until last week when I had an offer accepted on a flat. So priorities changed a bit and I needed to keep a bit of cash liquid.....bloody expensive business this property-buying lark

Superb! Just what I've been looking at. Waiting for pay review on Friday (new job offer hopefully) and will then make my move. That silver I assume? I'm looking at dark blue but not sure about blue on blue.. def want pre-facelift.

Where you get it? im tempted on dicksons but 900 mile drive home isnt great but would give me a chance to test her out

Yep silver! I also prefer the pre-facelift, the rear lights on the recent cars look a bit dodgy to me (kind of Halfords-style). But cost was the main factor! Although insurance has worked out more expensive than my S2000 renewal believe it or not!

I got it from GT Culture in Hertfordshire, they were great to deal with. There's a nice looking blue one for sale on the ITR board: http://www.itr-dc5.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=7903

I'm in Kent too, if you want to have a nosey around mine let me know
