Default New centre console

My new facelift centre console has just arrived, well pleased with it. To those that have done this mod before, where did you relocate the alarm/immobilisor led to?

Isn't there some sort of issue with the roof switch being different, or can that be sorted now?

Yes there's a fix for the issue with the wiring plug for the old console's heated rear window switch not plugging into the new console's heated rear window switch. I'll be modifying the switch over the next few days hopefully and will take a few pictures as I go. I'll be following the how-to posted up by one of the guys on the Greek sub-forum.

Good man. I'm looking to do the swap over the winter myself...

I had a go at this mod when pissed...suffice to say, it didn't turn out too good.

What I did do, was to buy as US switch (which sits behind the stalks where the headlight switch resides) and a latching relay board and bypass the car's wiring, running my own to the HRW. That was simpler than messing around with the facelift switch IMO.

I really must get round to wiring that in given how long I've had it now.
