New Geometry Settings
Guys,
Need some advice. I've lowered the car on Eibach springs and had my allignment redone last week. Following on from a few recent posts I requested -1 degree camber and neutral toe at the front and -2 degrees and 0.1 toe in at the rear.
I've just been out for a blast for the first time, ok the roads are cold but dry, so not perfect conditions I agree. However, I find the car understeers a lot more than before. Would that be logical when you look at my current setup? (1st pic). Or is it I have more Caster than before and can therefore feel as to what's going on for a change? I suspect a combination of both. Either way I don't like it. The rear feels great, much more confidence inspiring.
Rear of the car was fully adjustable, all in good shape, but that was the best they could do with the front due to it being partially seized. What's involved in freeing up the front? Labour and parts wise.
As it is now (March 2013)

How it was prior to lowering (allignment done June 2012)

I asked for that rear toe, I could ask for more next time, but at the moment the front is my convern.

A friend suggested I remove some of the rear camber to make the setup more neutral, but I'd imagine that will compromise overall grip??
I really need to know what's involved in freeing up the front camber adjustment before making a decision. The above is the cheaper way, but perhaps not the best.
