Default New here

Hi, I've been reading up on the S2000 and have decided to part with my cash! I've been to some dealers today with no success.

I've now decided to

A) Go private
B) Go import

This is what I am going to see tomorrow
http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/205962.htm

Not sure about the brown leather at all but the rest looks like a really good deal.

If the waiting time on the import was cut down, and they had a silverstone with black/red seats i'd jump at it...

Any advice on the brown look? I won't know until I see it, cannot find any decent photos on the net, looks quite a sickly brown colour.

Anyone else got this colour combo? What are people's reactions?

Wish me luck, in 24 hours time I may be a S2000 owner!

Jim

His reason for selling and his P/X request don't quite go hand in hand...

Change of job, doesn't use it anymore.
Someone else is viewing it before me, dreading it will go - what can I do in advance to stop it being sold!

If it falls through I will go to Leicestershire for the import using Bob Gerard (unless anyone knows of a local-to-London importer with good history)

The car is UK spec and a real Bargain.
The car is a Euro Import. i.e. it wasn't bought in the UK.

As far as I am aware this colour combination has never been available in the UK.

Still looks good and not a bad price.

I think the colour combo is a very personal thing - I absolutely love black & tan combinations, but other people don't...

See what it looks like in the flesh

If its a private sale, given the value I would be getting an HPI and indipendant check done.

Thanks - loving the quick feedback. 2007 saw the introduction of the brown leather combo with black dash, it is the UK model and I have done the HPI check already. Need to cajool the nice man in to letting me have first glance despite ringing after the first guy.

Is it even worth trying to barter at this price? Looks solid.
