Default New Stuff

Had a little bit of work done on the car last week and had some of my new toys fitted.
Thie biggest change is the exhaust and test pipe. I bought Cheshire Carpers Ti Amuse (Many thanks CC) which is Had it fitted whislt the car was being serviced along with the T1R test pipe.

The sound is now awesome I have now swapped out the entire exhaust system, so it goes Ricks 6+ Stainless manifold into T1R Stainless test pipe into Amuse Titanium exhaust. The underneath of the car looks if nothing else.

CC was right you can feel the difference in weight.
It also smells like a go-kart.

Also had the EBC Red Stuff Ceramic front pads and discs fitted early fast road testing looks good. The Motul 600RBF fluid went in at the same time, only slight problem is that one of my brake lines has corroded so the garage couldn't fit the brake hoses. Need to get Honda to look and investigate a warranty replacement although this might prove tricky. Whats peoples feeling here ? Personally I would like them to replace it as I wouldn't expect that level of corrosion on a car less than 2 years old. However I also see the argument that it's not broken and you wouldn't know unless you were trying to replace a factory part.......

Also fitted a K&N filter as mine was knackered and it was only pennies more than the OEM part.

To Opie Oil also for sorting me out some Silkolene Pro S 5W40 Race with quick delivery.

ALM shafted me on fitting the exhaust though (likewise CC got stung too) the service was a lot cheaper than I thought it would be though.

The Amuse dual Ti is a perfect exhaust for the S in my opinion.

I fitted my HKS and removed it and fitted my Amuse. This time I just did not have the free time to swap the Amuse and stock, so in agreement with Lee I let ALM Honda do the service, MOT and swap my Amuse to Lee's car and fit my original OEM stock exhaust back on mine.

When the bill came I was stunned. £103.87 (some hourly rate x 1.175) to remove one exhaust and fit another

Complete pisstake price that. The Amuse goes on with one hand in about 15 mins when stood under the car and the oem maybe 25.

Over a hundred quid? Fecking jokers.

Glad you are happy with the exhaust Lee. (If you need to wait a little before making the payment, no worries).

Completely agree.

My trolley jack and axel stands inc crawl board cost me about 45 quid total and have been used on the past three cars I have owned. This time I was struggling to fit everything in timewise. I couldn`t believe what they charged for such a piece of piss job.

Completely agree. They bent me over the counter and dry bummed me.
