I was wondering about Toyos too. Currently, im on Dunlop SP's which i find fantastic tyres. On my recent trp to the ring, a friend had a turbo golf with 372 bhp and he was running Toyos on it. The thing stuck like glue despite the power so must have a lot of stick, surely? Not sure about in the wet tho?

Toyo T1-R Vs Dunlop Sport SP2:

Toyo much better in the dry - more progressive and better "feel"

No difference in the wet - rear still slipperier than an eel's slippery bits...

I said a lot about Goodyear Eagle F1s and how much I disliked them when I initially put them on.

However, now that they are bedded in and my geometry is sorted out properly, they are certainly ok and nice and cheap at

not used the f1's on the s2000 yet - currently had yoko avs sports and they werent good at all in the wet.
RE050's seem real nice in the wet - dont let go nearly as often as the AVS's.

from previous experience on the f1's ('95 vtec 'lude) they are an awesome tyre.

i use f1's but run them at 34psi not 32 makes the turn in much better and less roll - can tend to plow a bit on fast turns though in the dry
