Hey i'm a new member and have loved S2000's since I first saw one, I have been looking through the forum for a while and I am trying to get some answers that I have not been able to find already.

I have prefur the look of the later S2000's the one's after the first face lift or the lastest one's, I have noticed that there are some differance's in the centre console and the clock's but I have not been able to find out when these changes happend.

Also do some of the S2000's have factory fitted body kits? as evan some cars I have been looking at have had differnent kits fitted evan tho they are the same year.

Cheers for your help.

Ceasar - Welcome - you've been bitten by the bug - you'll struggle to get rid of it now.

Changes I believe were in 2004?

I think there were body kits available - most are just lips, and side strakes.

The clocks and centre console changed in 04, as did the wheel size (16' to 17'), the rear lights (LED's), the front and rear bumbers and the exhaust tips went from round to oval. There were a host of other updates including an engine mod to reduce oil consumption and a softening of the suspension.

There's a further info in the FAQ here https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showt...0&#entry5798524

Oh, and hello and welcome

Hello!! had my S for nearly a year now, but never really got round to posting on here....... I have a 06 in Indy yellow..... had the suspension geo set up by center gravity in Tamworth( after a spin, resulting in the back n/s wheel impacting with a curb ...), and also had my oem wheels refurbed in anthracite, as 1 wheel damged in same incident!

Met 1 of the guys off here already, think he said his username was DundeeLad!

Looking at doing some high performance driver training in the very near future, and then want to look at doing my first track day!

Also have a '99 Accord Type R which I cant bring myself to sell :-(

Anyway, nice to meet you all, and hope I dont ask too many noob questions and annoy people....

Hello!

I'm Chris, been looking around for an S2000 for a few weeks now. I have a 58 plate Mini Cooper S (turbo) at the moment that im trying to sell so i can get an S. Hopefully if my car sells in the next few weeks ill be on here much more!

At the moment im looking for something aroung the £10-£12k mark, my favourite colour being Indy Yellow then either Black or Moonrock ideally with Red interior. However i cant get anything yet till i sell mine!

Also im 24 (25 in 2 months) with 6 years NCB and i feel im going to get annihilated when it comes to the insurance

Hi all just bought myself a MCB S2000 from a fellow forum member last week and really enjoying it. My previous car was a JDM Integra type R but this is a competly different machine. First day i got the car i bought some new bridgestones and got the tracking 100% just to be safe.
