Default New Wheels!

Anyone else used RTA repairs?
I've Just had my wheels done well I must say I am impressed. I wasn't to sure on the colour I had chosen at first but once they where on the car I loved them. The colours like a titanium/metal colour. And from different angles the wheels take on different depth. The wheels where professionally refurbished and where well overdue. I told him I was a member of the S2ki forum and that I was going to publish the photos online, I was trying to put pressure on them to do a good job in the hope he wouldn't want me to show case a bad job

The guy I spoke to initially was a pleasant chap, and answered every question I had! I tried to explain what colour I was looking for and he told me I could have them any colour I liked. When RTA came to do the job he brought a colour chart and I opted for 'This Colour'. I asked him what would happen when he came to paint the centre caps, as I wanted to keep the Honda logo. He simply said not to worry and leave it with him. 3 hours later he presented the car to me. I was impressed with the quality of finish especially knowing the previous condition of my wheels, they where bad! He left no mess and only needed a power supply to carry out the job. The black Honda logo on the centre caps didnt look right so he decided to do it white as I had white callipers. I'd of liked him to consult me prior to doing this, but I appreciated his opinion and think it was best as they look really nice. Well I think so anyway. He left no mess and only needed a power supply. I only got charged £30 a wheel as I told him I was going to post on the form, Result!

RTA cover the whole of the Northwest and are prepared to travel

The white H badge isn't really my thing, but the wheels do look good. How have they been finished?

For me they have being spoiled by leaving all the old weight glue behind and spaying over it, sorry but that's the first thing that jumped out at me

They have'nt removed the weight's and left residue as there is still weight's left on the wheel .

These mobile wheel refurb's only tend to do the face of the wheel not the back's and for £30 per wheel that look's like a good job

The glue residue was left from the last tyre change

Do they fix scrapes etc in the wheels?

Although maybe not up to some peoples standards, if I could get my wheels done at 30 quid each and they are repaired, sprayed and look better than they do at the mo id be happy with that job. Will definitely look better than they do at the moment. I could get mine done how I want and save quite a bit of money. Did they leave the tyres on while spraying?

Yea the white H wasn't really my thing to be honest but when they where put on the car they looked right. The black H didn't. He also mentioned the wheel balance tabs. He hadn't removed any they where there from previous owner more likely as I haven't had tyres or anything done myself. He also mentioned he could do the whole wheel but would have to remove the tyres and it would be £60 a wheel. I weren't that bothered to tell you the truth. I am well pleased with the result and would recommend RTA. In fact he's coming back to do the rest of my cars. I had previous quotes of £50 and £60 so I was pessimistic about the results, hence the pressure in my initial enquiry.

Deadly Aura - my wheels where tragic! if mine could be done any wheel can be done! I should have taken pics before he did them. There where deep scuffs, loads of corrosion and blistering. On one wheel there was a little chunk out of the rim. I think he left the tyres on for the repairs and paint.
