Newish Owner Saying Hello
Hello Everyone,
Thought it was about time I posted, I've had my S2000 just over a year now and although I've lurked the forum for quite a while before buying mine (doing my homework) and quite a bit since (never stop learning) I've finally got round to saying hello and getting a few pics up,
My S is just for summer fun so it hibernates in the winter, I used the old mid-life crisis excuse to talk myself into getting a car I'd always loved from it's launch but never was in a position to own.
Here's part of my previous and present car history
The only other convertible I'd ever owned

Audi 80 cab 2.6 V6, I really did enjoy this one, not really sporty to drive but nice never the less.
This ones a bit unusual but like the S was quite rare and built in a way that interested me and I liked it a lot & it served me well when the kids were young.

This old war horse I still have, It's 60 years old next year and has never let me down in the 13 years I've had it, dunno why this pic has come out upside down, but this is my first post
[attachment=77258:IMG_0543.JPG]
And this is my current daily
[attachment=77259:IMG_1618.JPG]
So onto the S, it was original when I got it with 100k on the clock
[attachment=77260:IMG_2860.JPG]
Added a grill to protect the rad a bit & changed all the oils/filters & fluids oh and the usual rattling TCT, I got a brand new one from a Honda dealer in the U.S for much less than Honda UK want, I also added a taller wind deflector to the cabin,
[attachment=77261:IMG_2861.JPG]
and had a lot of fun last summer with it.
[attachment=77262:IMG_3265.JPG]
Over the winter I'd really started to like the look of the S2000's I'd seen in pictures in white, so I started by painting my original wheels white to see if I'd dare go any further with the thought if I can't live with it I'll re-do them in silver
[attachment=77263:IMG_3712.JPG]
Anyway I did like them, so I took a similar approach to the body & had it wrapped with the same idea in mind that if I don't like it for too long I can always go back to the Silverstone underneath, so here's a few of the process,

[attachment=77266:IMG_3730.JPG]
[attachment=77267:IMG_3735.JPG]
[attachment=77268:IMG_3741.JPG]
[attachment=77269:IMG_3747.JPG]
[attachment=77270:IMG_3751.JPG]
[attachment=77271:IMG_3750.JPG]
I'm very pleased with it & looking forward to another summer of topless action, Oh & that's one more thing I need, a new hood, so will probably have a day trip to swansea & give Jack a visit.
Anyway that's all for now folks, looking forward to been part of forum.

Hello and welcome along, loads of information on here.
Have fun!

Thanks for the replies,
I kind of fell into audi's by accident, a long time ago I needed a cheap car and I bought a £400 15 year old Audi 90 and I couldn't fault it, had a 5 cylinder engine that sounded lovely opened up & I kinda stuck with the brand ever since, although there's only a couple of the modern ones that floats me boat these days, my first ever car was a Honda accord if that counts, a V reg from the first time round about 1979/80 something like that?
Iv'e got a Honda quad if that counts as been a secret honda fanboy too
Actually I really like the idea of the new civic type R that's about to be launched as replacement for my A3 a few years down the line when their a bit more affordable.

Car looks much better in white! Never a fan of silverstone, I think it makes such a good looking car look understated.
I'm fast becoming a Honda fanboy... I've had 2 Honda bikes, my S2k and I've just got myself a 2001 Accord for when I need the extra room.
