Default Nice bit of Bling for the S

Might not be to everyones taste, but this popped through the letterbox today...

It comes ready engraved with the picture of the car, and any additional text can be added for no cost whatsoever. I asked for the Honda logo and the S2000 logo in the correct font and he e-mailed me back with this design for approval. I considered having the number plate engraved as well, but I'm considering private plates some time in the future so didn't bother.

Its a really nice item, the holder seperates by twisting it a quarter of a turn, and it comes with some clear double sided sticky pads to stick to the screen. The engraving is nice and crisp and I think it's a steal at

A warning about these. When it get hot, the sticky pads stop working and you then try to press the disc back on the windscreen. The disc is hotter than the sun and you burn your fingers.

You've been warned...The s2ki owners one is much better

Never crossed my mind that, I'll bear it in mind. Think I'll be OK for a few months just yet

Oh maybe I should add "Other Tax Disc Holders are available"

I was being lighthearted but mine came off in the heat, as well as in the cold. Having purchased a number of additional sticky pads, with little success, I gave up in the end.

Having said that, a lot of people have these and seem to manage ok, probably just me.

I loved my S2K owners one, but sadly could not be reused and was a pain in the backside to remove...

Id be interested in one of the above. Detail looks great.

Agree looks nice but.........
considering the cost of taxation, the disc itself has some value to thieving dog-turds, so prefer to use security holders that render the paper disc in inaccessible.

Had mine over a year, its a richbrook, engraved by some guy on ebay who doesn't trade anymore. Not had any problems with it not sticking, although with the one on my previous car I did drop the allen key between the dash and the window, near to be found. I'm glad the newer ones are just fake screws.
