I know you've joined S2KUK, but I'm not sure if you've joined the forum membership - see below for explanation
If indeed you have joined s2ki and the membership status has just not changed, email me the paypal receipt (payment goes to Petersen Ventures LLC) to my username @s2ki.com and I can adjust it manually.
Membership of the forums (s2ki) is separate to membership of the UK S2000 Owners Club (S2KUK).
S2KUK membership gets you all the club related 'offline' benefits, dealer discounts, insurance deals, aftermarket part discounts etc... these are explained on the s2kuk site http://www.s2kuk.com
s2ki membership gets the additional forum benefits - ability to post in For Sale, more PM space, @s2ki.com email address, custom avatar, etc.
The 'Guest' Status relates to s2ki (Forum) membership, NOT S2KUK (Club membership)

s2ki membership is $20 a year and you can buy it by clicking 'Purchase membership' in the MyS2K section
