Default Noises

Hi,

The engine is cold here, but does this sound ok or early tct?

https://youtu.be/bmvOeXqpGz0

Also when I start the car relatively quickly after its first cold start i.e. moving out of garage, turn off, shut garage. Restart, it makes a grinding type noise on ignition, any ideas or is this normal?

Thanks

Joe

Sounds OK to me mate. The F20c is not the quietest unit in the world. Unless I'm A muppet that is ok.

The starter motor sometimes gets a bit sticky and doesn't disengage properly. That'll be what that is. It's pretty common, especially in colder temperatures, and nothing to worry about, really.

The way to stop the grinding noise whilst you close the garage is to .................................................. .......... Leave the engine running.

Garage keys and car keys cant be 2 places at once, will just have to get a spare cut for this!
