Hello all,

I'm Mike, I'm 21 from Leamington Spa. I picked up my first S a month or so back and thought I'd get signed up on here! Very happy with the car so far! Loving the drive, loving the attention

It's a Y reg AP1 in Berlina black. The milage was about 110k. I think it was a bit of a risky buy; seems to be a lot of owners, 'enthusiast' owned previously, modified and obviously fairly high milage but I fell in love with it.

It's been going well so far, although I have picked up a bit of an annoying problem gradually over the time I've had it. 'Hiccup' type split second hesitations only present occasionally, usually happens with part throttle and lowish revs. Anyone heard of anything like this?

It's had HSD coilovers, 17" Fighters, Japspeed full exhaust system, Apexi Vtec controller and a few other bits and bobs. I'll add a list

Will make sure I attend the next meet local to me whenever that might be!

Let me know what you think Oh, I suspect the cars previous owners might have been members on here.. if any of you recognise it or know anything about it that I dont, give me a shout please haha (unless it's been written off, in that case keep it to yourself ha).

Black is the best colour

Just so you know in the UK they're referred to as pre-facelift and facelift,
Ap1 and Ap2 chassis codes are for the USA and I think japan? Could be wrong there ..

But they're ALL Ap1 over here

Get yourself along to a meet, the NW and the North Yorkshire ones are good but probably a tad out of your way.

In fact put a few hours aside and read all the tech FAQ, it's a goldmine.
