Default Is this normal behaviour?

My new moon rock S is on it's way from the dealer to me today (Manchester - Aberdeen!). Anyone seen it on the car transporter (M6/A74)? I think I slept for about 20mins this whole weekend!! I've been standing at the kitchen window since about 9 this morning, hoping. I've ploughed the details into Autoroute and I'm expecting it here about 13:45.

Since selling my ATR 3 weeks ago it's been tough living with a borrowed Colt 1.5.
Now I've got a 1K miles running in to do

Congratulations on the purchase - nice colour too

I'm happy to confirm that this is ENTIRELY normal behaviour. Further symptoms of S2000 ownership will develop over the next few months - principally, these involve a fixed grin and an empty wallet (resulting from increased petrol usage and an inevitable need to buy bits and pieces with which to modify your car)

As for running it in, you can VTEC once you've done 600 miles - step it up from 6,000 rpm by another 1,000 rpm for each one hundred miles after that.

Good choice - the colour is gorgeous in the flesh....er.....metal whatever.

The car is sublime and a real treat to own. with Mark Turner, but the first thing is to get a good supply of proper polish to really bring the look of the car out.

Enjoy your new baby, I'm sure you will

No doubt you will not read this for several days if it arrived as planned but I know how you feel and hope it goes excellently.

Incidentally, when did you order it - I'm awaiting a Moonrock as well!!! Post some photos when you can!

Paul.

Saw a new 54 plate moonrock on the M25 today around Clackett Lane services. Looked nice.
