I'd be interested in some pics. I'll be taking the hardtop off probably in March, at which point I want to sort out better storage for it than that which I had at the end of last summer.

I got the hardtop delivered in May last year, so bought a Wiessman hard top stand & cover from Auco Auto-Comfort in Germany - www.auco.de - and can't recommend it highly enough. I wouldn't really want to lean the HT against a wall, and this way it still stores it vertically (saving a load of space) and it folds up tightly enough that it'd be dead easy to put the stand and cover into the boot, so you could even go away for the weekend with the HT on, then take it off when you get to your destination. Not that we ever did that yet

Pics of the stand about 2/3 way down this German page - http://www.auco.de/vera.html - I got the Small one - and Auco were really helpful on email. I sent them a Euro cheque for

I bought my stand and cover from the BMW dealers (it's for the Z3)

Some of you saw it at the Abinger meet but, for the benefit of those who didn't here it is again

I shed the hard top yesterday as it was glorious sunshine. This was my first top down experience in my own S2000 and don't think the hard top is going back on unless it gets cold (-2)

Don't bother, just put on a hat & turn up the heat

Also try it at night (top down that is) it's magic.
In December I was given a Christmas tree, but was some 60 miles from home in the S. I had no option but to retract roof, strap 7'-0'' tree in passenger seat, and head for home in the dark and pray for a dry evening. As you can imagine, lots of sideways glances, and a semi bald tree by my arrival at home

LOL Graybloke.

A few pictures of the old bag:

It is huge

As you can see the inside colour is custom matched to the car. Zip on both sides.

You can't really see the thickness here, but it is well padded. Also has a flap under the zip.

The bag has 2 loops and comes with a pair of hangers.

This bag is actually designed for the large Merc hard top and is very big when placed against the S2000 top.
