Default Noticed a bit of rust :(

Noticed a small bit of rust today.

Its on the bottom right corner on the outside of the front wheel arch, in-between the plastic wheel arch and bodywork.

Having not treat rust before, what the best plan of action? - something like remove wheel arch remove rust and apply krust->primer->paint->waxyoil???

I currently have some 'krust', 'Jenolite', 'Primer', 'Touch-up pen' and 'waxyoil'.

Cheers

Pic not of my car.

Yeah, i've had rust there.

My advice is to get some rust eating gel.

The good thing about this is that it doesn't eat paint...how cools that!

Once done, get some silver hammerite and bung it on.

You can of course do it the proper 4 stage nutter way, but you will still end up with a colour mismatch.

So the hammerite way will prevent further rust until you come to a point where you think you can justify getting the car resprayed
