The secondary doesnt affect performance so you'll be fine just the CEL is annoying.

Yeah, it got through the MOT with it lit, so obviously it's not causing emission problems. It's just if I get another problem I won't know about it. I'll change it in the summer. Probably.

Sometimes Honda have parts left on the shelf either excess stock, parts customers didnt want etc and they are always discounted. I got a Honda o2 sensor for not a lot more than the walker one.

Lloyds pointed me in the direction of the particular dealer from their database.

i will give honda a ring tomorow but i know im going to have to sell a kidney to buy it from the dealers hardtopguy want $116 for a map sensor $63 is shipping i cant find a price for an O2 sensor

£61 when I bought it.

Pain in the arse to fit if you're on axle stands, as the cable goes over the gearbox (prepare for scratched arms/knuckles!). I gave up and got my friendly local garage to do it on a lift for £30.

I've found it's improved MPG and improved the 'off throttle' to 'on throttle' smoothness when crawling along in traffic.

I'd sooner use a genuine one, but I have used catsdirect before on an Impreza and it worked fine.

They usually don't have the lifespan of an OEM one though.

phoned dealers today , £150 for map and £156 for O2 plus vat of course going to ring eco lambda tomorrow
